Bobby Lawson, Overton class of 1965, is a super blues and rock musician and has been a prominent member of the Memphis Blues Society Band in the past.  He also has recorded several records to his credit over the years.  Look up his web site below and learn what's been been going on with Bobby all these years.

If you remember Ms. Joanne Spain, music teacher at Colonial Jr. High when many of us were there......well, she did some recordings locally in Memphis in the 60's called "Walk Softly" (recorded under her married name Joanne Touchstone).   She recorded an album in the 70's called "Elevator" under the name Joanne Spain. Unfortunately she passed away in 2009 and here's a link to her recordings on YouTube. Click on and enjoy
